Pattern gradients

180° U-turn

Gradient tiles merge two patterns, enabling fluid floor designs and seamless transitions. During installation, remember these three key rules:

1. Follow your design
2. The design overrules the arrow on the back
3. Apply 180° U-turn if necessary

See our example with pattern Mezzo and its respective gradient.

*Incorrect example:

Here's an instance where the arrow on the tile's back was strictly followed. As a result, the transition wasn't properly created, and the Mezzo gradient tiles didn't connect seamlessly with the Mezzo pattern.

**Correct example:

This shows how Mezzo gradient tiles should be installed to seamlessly connect with the Mezzo pattern by adhering to the floor design.

Brick installation transition

From Mezzo (M) to Mezzo Gradient (MG) to Core (C).

This is an exemplary display of a transition from Mezzo to Core. The design features 4 central Mezzo tiles, surrounded by 8 Mezzo Gradient tiles for the transition, and finally 8 Core tiles at the edges.

During installation, you may need to rotate the gradient tiles by 180° to facilitate a smooth transition from one pattern to another.

Don't worry if, after installation, the arrows on the back of the gradient tiles don't all point in the same direction. Some might be turned by 180° - and that's perfectly okay!
