Topcon: Calm and Rhythm in a Modern Workplace
Topcon’s new office was shaped around a clear and focused brief. As a Japanese company, the client wanted a modern working environment with a calm, understated character. Functionality and refinement needed to align seamlessly.
A low structural ceiling in the centre of the space required a thoughtful design move. This zone was transformed into a defined walkway using our Noble LVT collection. “That decision introduces structure while preserving the openness of the space,” says Peter Andrik of PAK Projectrealisatie. The light wood effect creates visual calm and clearly distinguishes circulation from the work areas. Cabinet walls in a fresh green tone, combined with planting, further strengthen that spatial clarity.
For the workstations, First Define carpet tiles were selected. They anchor the work zones, add comfort underfoot and introduce a softer layer to the interior. The result is a warmer, more residential feel that enhances everyday comfort and supports mental wellbeing.
From day one, modulyss was a proactive partner in the process. Their quick response and the variety of colour samples they provided gave us immediate confidence in our choices.
